These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of मौसम.live (also reachable at xn--r2ba3a9e.live) — a free, read-only public weather portal operated by CORE.AI Scientific Technologies Private Limited ("we," "us"). By using the site, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

Plain-English summary. The site is free to use. There are no accounts, no payments. Weather information is provisional — it is sourced from the India Meteorological Department (IMD), but should never replace IMD's official emergency channels for life-safety decisions. Don't scrape or abuse the site.

1. Eligibility and Acceptance

By accessing the site, you confirm that you can form a binding contract under applicable law and will comply with these Terms and the Privacy Policy. The site is a public information service; no registration is required.

2. Weather Data is Provisional — Not for Emergency Response

All weather information on मौसम.live is sourced from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) via its public API. We display the data we receive as faithfully as possible, including category labels, departure percentages, warning severity codes, and forecast timestamps.

However, weather data is inherently uncertain, can be delayed, can contain upstream errors, and is presented here for general informational purposes. For life-safety decisions — including evacuation, sheltering during cyclones, fishing/marine safety, flood response, agriculture timing, or any emergency situation — you must rely on IMD's official channels:

• Local district disaster-management cell

We disclaim all liability for decisions made based on मौसम.live content. See Sections 11 and 12 below.

3. IMD Attribution and Pilot Status

मौसम.live operates under a non-commercial pilot agreement with IMD. As required by that agreement:

• Every page on the site credits IMD as the source of weather data.
• We do not display advertising, do not sell access, and do not charge users.
• We rate-limit and cache responses to avoid burdening IMD's upstream API.

If IMD's terms change or the pilot is concluded, we may modify, restrict, or discontinue the site (see Section 7).

4. Free Use, No Accounts

The site is free for personal, educational, and informational use. There are no accounts, no subscriptions, no paid tiers. We do not offer commercial licensing for मौसम.live's redistribution; if you wish to embed our data on a separate site or app, please contact contact-us@core.ai — note that any such use must independently comply with IMD's API terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• scrape the site at scale or in ways that disrupt service for others (we monitor and rate-limit; abusive clients may be blocked at the network level);
• attempt to access non-public endpoints, exploit security vulnerabilities, or interfere with our infrastructure;
• republish IMD data sourced from this site as if it were your own original observation;
• use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable Indian or international law;
• misrepresent मौसम.live's relationship with IMD, the Government of India, or CORE.AI Scientific Technologies.

Casual personal use, sharing screenshots on social media, embedding a link to a city/district page in a blog post, or using the data informally to plan your day is all explicitly fine.

6. Third-Party Services

The site relies on third-party infrastructure (Google Cloud for hosting, Let's Encrypt for TLS, the IMD API for weather data). Their respective terms govern their services. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or changes in those services that affect availability of मौसम.live.

7. Changes, Availability, and Discontinuation

We may modify, restrict, or discontinue any part of the site at any time, including in response to:

• changes in IMD's API or pilot terms,
• operational, security, or capacity considerations,
• legal or regulatory requirements.

We use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the site running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and we provide no service-level commitments.

8. Intellectual Property

The IMD weather data displayed on this site is the property of the India Meteorological Department, Government of India. The site's design, software, original copy (excluding IMD data), and assets are owned by CORE.AI Scientific Technologies Private Limited and protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws. The "मौसम.live" wordmark and styling are ours.

You may link to any page on the site freely.

9. Suspension

We may block, rate-limit, or suspend access for any IP, ASN, or User-Agent that we believe is abusing the site (scraping at scale, attempting exploits, generating unreasonable traffic). We do this to protect the IMD upstream relationship and to keep the site available for everyone.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current.

Mandatory consumer rights under applicable Indian law remain unaffected.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of life, property, profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising out of or related to your use of मौसम.live.
• Because the site is provided free of charge with no payment received from you, our aggregate liability for any direct damages arising from your use of the site is limited to INR 1,000, regardless of the cause of action.

Nothing in this Section limits liability where it cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless CORE.AI Scientific Technologies Private Limited from claims arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the site, or your infringement of third-party rights.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to applicable consumer-protection laws, the courts located in Ernakulam, Kerala, India have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the site evolves. Material changes will be flagged at the top of the page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.
